An English rose blooming in the untamed jungles of South America, Eden Farraday lives a life of independence—unheard of for a lady—with her doctor-turned-scientist father. But Eden misses England desperately. When the dangerous and darkly charming Lord Jack Knight sails into her life, she seizes her chance to return to civilization, stowing away aboard his London-bound ship. Roguish and charismatic, a self-made shipping tycoon with a shadowy past and a well-guarded heart, Jack is sailing on a vital secret mission.

When the redheaded temptress is discovered aboard his vessel, he reacts with fury—and undeniable lust. Forced to protect her from his rough crew, the devilish Lord Jack demands a scandalous price in exchange for Eden’s safe passage across the sea. As his wicked kiss ignites an unforgettable blaze of passion between them, Jack and Eden confront a soul-searing love that cannot be denied.

Foley's Ascension trilogy is one of my fave book series. I LOVE IT!

Now her Knight Miscellany, i have to say, the only one i really enjoyed is THE DUKE. :S Oh i love Robert and Bel's love story!

I do adore the Knight siblings though. GF makes me want to know what happens to them that's why i keep reading even though the other books in the series are not THAT good (but certainly better than most hist romances today). And yes, i can't wait to get Jack's book; will get it as soon as they release it here. ;)

Oh, the proposal is VERY nice indeed. I thought Robert needed more groveling LOL after what he did but, i can't blame Bel for not refusing! *sigh*

This book made me cry more than once LOL. I wish it had a longer epilogue though. I highly recommend GF's THE DUKE. :D

Trollop, i AM GOING TO CHOKE YOU!!! Did you read THE DUKE?! I even sent you ebook and you didn't read it? Why? Because you wanted the memory of that blowjob forever in your mind! Which you based all of GF's books! Honestly.

Tell me first if you think GF is a bad writer (like you think PS is a bad one) and i might forgive you. You better be sleeping!!!

Tart,

Babe, don't listen to Trollop. LOL If you want to read GF, start with PRINCESS or THE DUKE. I love it. :D

About pronounciation, i was even wrong pronouncing YOUR name, what more of something like "Gaelen"? :S (but i pronounce it as Gail-en, don't know if that's right.. LOL)

I say it as Gail-en too. When I go to bookstores (here or in the States) and ask for her book, the salesperson always follows my pronunciation. So I think nobody knows unless you've heard an on-air interview with Ms. Foley herself :)

Btw, VT, remember what I told you about about bad book karma following you around? You need to move on to the Ascension series if you want to shake it loose, darling ;) I think Harlot is right. You secretly want to keep remembering the blowjob scene...LOL

No. Start with the ASCENSION trilogy:

1. Pirate Prince
2. Princess (my fave GF)
3. Prince Charming

PS. Gaelen Foley is NOT Johanna Lindsey. She's definitely MUCH better. ;)

I don't understand myself, but I wasn't a big fan of The Duke. It was merely okay and in fact everytime someone brings it up, I remember it vaguely--which is quite odd since I remember every romance I've read since I started reading them four years ago.
