Once, he spurned the woman he loved. The Earl of Wynwood was far too reckless to handle a sophisticated woman like Viviana Alessandri. And the beautiful opera singer was far too famous to make a suitable wife for Wynwood.
Twice, she wagered with her heart. Crushed by Wynwood’s refusal to marry, Viviana offered her hand to another, a wealthy count. But fate has a way of playing with lovers’ hearts—and passion has a way of setting them on fire.
Two little lies tore them apart. But now, at a gala affair celebrating Wynwood’s recent betrothal, Viviana will get one last chance to win back his love... again... and again.

Isn't this the same plot as one of the Mary Balogh's with Christmas in the title (although that heroine was an actress, not an opera singer): meet when young, she's considered unsuitable so he doesn't marry her, she has his secret baby, she marries someone else and has more children, they meet during the holidays, love reignites, and voila, HEA!

Probably, but Liz will give it her own twist.
Trollop, I wouldn't start with this one because it overlaps with One Little Sin. Start there...although it wasn't the best LC that I have read. Then go back and devour all her other titles!! I have read all of them except the first two and really enjoy them!

Susan, i've never read that Mary Balogh book you're pertaining to. Well, neither is this new book by LC, lol.
Hi Marg :)
Yes, gotta love LC. I recommend THE DEVIL TO PAY. So far, it's my fave of hers.
