The devil in leotards
Madonna has been making the media rounds lately to pimp her new CD and upcoming tour, which incidentally she announced on The Ellen Show wearing, yet again, leotards.
This leotard shit has got to be stopped. It isn’t dignified. You don’t see Tina Turner pulling these “look at me, aren’t I hot?” stunts, and yet she leaves Madonna in the dust in the sexy department. The Material Girl is now middle-aged and her public attempts to hang on to her youth are just plain embarrassing.
Look, I remember Madonna from way back when, you know, when her music rocked. I remember the first time I heard her, I thought it was a “black girl” group. I couldn’t believe she was a white chick. It wasn’t her voice, it was her music; she made dance music cool again. Come on, admit it, it was disco by another name...
Then she started believing her own hype. She became too self-important and self-involved; she was a Superstar! She actually requested (God’s honest truth) that the staff of, the then new station, MTV not look directly at her face. What an asshole. Wait, upon reflection, her asshole must have more aesthetic appeal than her face.
Truth or Dare, the documentary, pretty much confirmed that the woman lacked any depth as a person. She showed us just how shallow, superficial, one-dimensional and way too in love with herself she’d become—and those were her good traits! The best thing about this movie was Julie Brown’s spoof of it, Dare to be Truthful. Ms. Brown’s wicked portrayal of Madonna is nothing short of brilliant.
Madonna became the master of media manipulation, still is. But let’s ponder this: has she ever used her media savvy to promote anything but herself? Has she ever supported a cause that wasn’t self-serving?
I will admit that on occasion she did promote the AIDS cause way back when people wore the AIDS ribbon to awards ceremony. How many years ago was that? And she might do charity work that has not been made public. But that is not the point of this post. She had the power to get people to rally for a cause, to bring it to the awareness of the world and work to have global injustices exposed. You know, sort of the way she worked tirelessly to have every body part she possesses spread out in her birthday suit for her sex book.
Bono, Princess Diana, and Angelina Jolie are just a few who have used their immense power to make the world a better place. And the Material Girl? The soulless skank is presently promoting, what else? Madonna. This woman is an empty vessel with nothing to give. You’d think that all that yoga and kabbalah would have kicked in by now.
Skanky, perhaps you can look into getting the soul that you traded in for fame back. In the meantime, please, for god’s sake, put some clothes on. We’ve seen enough.

Yeah, I'm so over the 70s hair and leotards - I love that some are calling her 'Vadge' (in the UK she's known as Madge, so some snarky bloggers are calling her Vadge cos of her love of leotards) LMAO.
But, I still love her music. Her latest album is very cool. I never looked up to her and have never expected her to be a humanitarian or goodwill ambassador. Personally, I just want her to make good music that rocks.

You know who has the worse wonky eye? Parasite Hilton! Ugh. She is so skanky. I'd rate her lower than Madonna. At least Madonna has some talent, Parasite Hilton has nada. Zip. Zilch.
