After spending three London seasons searching for a husband, Daisy Bowman’s father has told her in no uncertain terms that she must find a husband. Now. And if Daisy can’t snare an appropriate suitor, she will marry the man he chooses—the ruthless and aloof Matthew Swift.

Daisy is horrified. A Bowman never admits defeat, and she decides to do whatever it takes to marry someone... anyone... other than Matthew. But she doesn’t count on Matthew’s unexpected charm... or the blazing sensuality that soon flares beyond both their control. And Daisy discovers that the man she has always hated just might turn out to be the man of her dreams.

But right at the moment of sweet surrender, a scandalous secret is uncovered... one that could destroy both Matthew and a love more passionate and irresistible than Daisy’s wildest fantasies.

I love LK! Harlot, I've been waiting for this book too.

I really like her Wallflower series. I love Devil in Winter, that's my favorite so far, so romantic! Sigh...

DREAMING OF YOU is still my favorite Kleypas. Derek and Sarah are a great couple. Great read! I also like STRANGER IN MY ARMS. Yeah, yeah, it has a contrived ending--whatever, i don't care, loved it.

This book looks really good.
I haven't read any Lisa Kleypas but I've heard her books are great. Any recs on what I should start with?

LOL, Harlot, everyone likes Dreaming of You, but I heard Stranger in my Arms was one of the worst ones. I heard the heroine was annoying and the whole plot was based off this one movie.

Vixen, I started LK with Worth Any Price, which was good but not the best one. Again the Magic is really good and although I haven't read it yet, everyone loves Dreaming of You.

I love Kleypas! I really enjoy her Wallflower series and I think Kleypas just gets better each book. I've been waiting for Scandal in Spring ever since Devil in Winter, which was awesome!

Linka, I love Dreaming of You! Vixen, read the Wallflower series first. The first book Secrets of a Summer Night was just a normal Kleypas, but the next two were both great. :)

I've just started reading Lisa Kleypas after many recs. So far I’ve only read two by her. The first I read was Devil in Winter. I really liked that one and I recently finished Dreaming of You but I thought it was...*looks around, whispers* just so-so. Now I'm looking for Then Came You because I really enjoyed Lily's character while reading DoY. ;)

Dancechica, LOL. I think Dreaming of You was just so-so too. :P But I just started reading Kleypas last year, favoring her newer novels, so that might be the reason. I love the wallflower series and like Harlot, thoroughly enjoyed Strangers in My Arms.

Hey Sisters,
This blog is awsome! Why didn't I think of this? Ever review any of Sue Grafton's Kinsey Milhone(a woman & feminist after my own heart!) series-searched but didn't find. Keep it up!
