Yes, Trollop, Daniel Craig is fucking HOT
First off, Bond films are always marketed for men. Not that Bond is a true representation of maleness, but because he’s supposed to be aspired and imitated. Men should want to live vicariously through him, which, if you ask me, should be insulting really. In any case, Casino Royale is different. Why? Because this time, we have a Bond film that’s been made FOR WOMEN. *g*
There are the fights of course, car scenes, explosions, etc, which I enjoy; I love adrenalin-pumped action films. But in CR, instead of the usual stupid leading lady whose main purpose is to shag—or to die after being shagged—or to *gasp* die while being shagged!—Eva Green’s character is strong and smart. She’s not there as a disposable, meaningless accessory. She doesn’t have stupid, cheesy dialogues that insult our intelligence and sensibility. And yes yes, I know she died but I forgive her for that as, let’s face it, this was written in the 50’s where a woman who did something bad (and if she seduced Bond!) can only atone her “sins” by dying. *rolls eyes*

After all, to be a real person, you have to feel. Like that shower scene where Bond reaches out for Vesper while she’s crying and he embraces her and offers her emotional support. A compassionate 007? *gasp* Who could’ve fucking guessed?!? What’s more, DC as Bond has a brain; he doesn’t just perform, he THINKS. Intelligence is an attractive trait if you ask me.
Now, what really makes DC soooo fucking hot is this: finally, after, what?—100 Bond films?—Bond is sexually objectified. And I gotta say: ME-OWW. *g* In CR, the camera outlines Bond’s curves, pans upward his body, *sigh* across his torso, teasing us with a stimulating delight. Ay mia... He’s like orgasm on stick. Like I said, I never noticed Daniel Craig until CR. Gotta go get a DVD so I can feast on Daniel Craig to my heart's content.
I think the shower scene where Bond puts Eva's finger in his mouth was really sexy and very subtle considering the other Bond films where at that point they would've been shagging already.
It was really refreshing to see a Bond film where the focus in on the man rather than the usual Bond girls (like Denise Richards -- who would even believe she was a physicist named Christmas! That was really dumb).
