Blog wars: Gone too far?

I’ve debated with myself on posting about this or not, seeing as I like to stay away from all this... er... stuff, so I’ve decided to keep it as neutral as possible.

When I first found Karen Scott’s blog, I thought she was witty, sarcastic and amusing—all things I love. I still think that. I believe Karen has a very engaging way of posting and I enjoy most of her writing. What I don’t really like is her, or at least this online persona she has created for herself. I believe she sometimes crosses the line from funny/mean to plain cruel and bitter. In any case, I religiously follow her so I can’t complain much now, can I? LOL

IMO, as far as unpleasantness goes, this Ferfelabat lady and her new Snark Underground blog can pretty much go head to head with Karen (except for the boring *yawn* writing). Though, I have to say, she went about it the wrong way.

Everyone should study a bit of political marketing, I think; so not the way to take down your opponent, Ferfe, particularly one as smart as Karen. You don’t make people pity your target... *tsk*tsk*tsk* Even I, not liking her all that much, feel bad for her!

Good thing Karen keeps her real name to herself because this lady really wants a chunk of her.

Harlot, don’t kill me for posting this!!!!!!!! LOL

I honestly never liked Karen or her blog. Well, i rarely like anyone (i don't even like you right now, Vicious Trollop) or any other blog. I don't give a flying fuck about her, her blog, her pets or whatever, and i have no doubt she doesn't care about me or what i think for that matter.

Now, blog wars. Catty bloggers who like to demean other bloggers just so they can feel better about themselves or they can create talk or show that they are "smarter"? Dude, what a waste of energy. I'm too fucking lazy and as crazy as my life is, i have one, thank God.

What kind of name is Ferfe?

I don't know.... I don't like blog wars - period. I'd rather read some funny stuff.

Are you talking about that girl with "It's my blog and I'll say what I want to?"

I saw her blog once or twice...but too lazy to read much unless it can be in a bound book or on audio...

BTW, do you know that you can make your blog go on podcast?

It's kind of funny though because it sounds like a robot without emotion...but hey, it's podcast!

Midas, yeah, that's the one.
I'd link her blog but I'd rather stay out of the "nasty range" LOL

Jolie, Not really sure who Ferfe is. I think she's an author but not quite sure if she's published. I know there was a big bruhaha over at Karen's involving her but the posts were really long and way too many so I sorta lost interest.

I don't usually read posts that involve too many unknown (to me) characters. It's like stepping into a porn movie during the orgy scene. You don't know who's who or what the fuck is going on LOL

I have never understood your fascination with that blogger.

I will keep quiet to not say something very unchristian on the subject.

Mean-spiritedness will always have benefits because people and media indulge it. The cost: it will give you nothing but wrinkles.

Give me a fun blog anytime, not blog or bloggers who bicker over who pisses higher than whom. Disgusting. Bottom line, it's nothing but a whole lot of piss.

Thinking your opinion is the only one that matters and not being open to listening to others in the off chance you're wrong is worse than being a hypocrite to me.

Cindy Cruciger? Never heard of her books or even her for that matter.

I like Karen. She likes to spice things up and create controversy. Nothing wrong with that. As long as you're not her target I'm sure you'll enjoy her, like me.

I will have to hop on to her blog and see what's shaking over there.
