New header on the way

Guys, we’ve had to take down our beautiful header because the copyrights were due and they are £1,500.00 fucking pounds and, well, neither Harlot nor I can afford it at the moment, especially because we’ve never made a cent out of this blog. We don’t even accept free** books unless it’s to raffle.

I will be working on a new whole design this weekend; in the meantime pretend we still have a nice purrty header LOL.

**We might have accepted one or two books years ago but I honestly can’t remember from whom.

I lost my post!!!!!!!

I wrote a huge-ass post on the woes of packing and unpacking—yeah, I know, enthralling stuff—and now it’s gone! I don’t know what happened to it. *sigh* It’s obvious Blogger hates me, but even for them this is excessively weird.

Short version of post that disappeared: I hate packing and I hate unpacking more. Hope that helps LOL.

Back to blogging?

For the first time in forever I feel like I want to sit down and write something for the blog; lovely feeling let me tell you. *g*

A couple of things:
  • I HATE MY JOB. HATE HATE HATE it. *sigh* I’m actively looking for another job in an international org (local or abroad).
  • I had a liposuction done 2 months ago. *HUGE grin* I got my upper/lower abs, thighs, back, hips and flanks sucked, baby! For some reason I’ve been eating like a hog lately so today I’m starting a diet. Wish me luck.
  • Harlot refuses to blog again which is fine. I understand how she feels because it’s just like I feel (felt?). I’m not really one to sit around and live life through a computer screen and at one point I felt like this blog was taking up too much of my daily life; I resented that.
  • I have some book recommendations I will be posting. And I have soooooooooooooo much to say on the American elections and you just know it has a lot to do with Sarah Palin LOL. I really hope some of you are still hanging around and if not, I suppose I’ll just have write for myself!

How much is TMI?

For years now, I’ve been part of the WWW life. BBs, debates, blogs, chat rooms, etc. In all honesty, I’m not a frequent poster anywhere (not even here lately LOL) so that might be why I’ve yet to discuss my personal life in public forums with relative strangers. I find there’s something not quite right about adults washing their dirty laundry—so to speak—for all to see.

I’ve seen some weird revelations around the web, everything—from cheating to being cheated on, from having cancer to contracting venereal diseases, from being 50 and still a virgin, to having been raped/molested as a teen.

I’m so surprised by this. I’m by no means what you’d call a private person. Heck, I’ll talk about anything generic: fun, sex related, etc—but there’s no way I’m going to go to a public forum and let strangers know that “my husband has sex with farm animals and I cheat with the next door neighbor that’s an ex-con who raped little boys.”

Really, aren’t some things best discussed with family or friends? And if you have no friends and no family to discuss these problems with then you better take a long hard look at your life because there is something not right there.

I won’t even share small details like my name LOL. A lot of you know it because I’m not exactly hiding it. I’m just not going out of my way to make it public either. Information is power and when you give it away that power goes to someone else’s hand. Do you really want that?

I was over at Karen Scott’s the other day and my heart breaks for her. Some web nut is making fun of her for not being able to have children. I would have filed that under “generic” information seeing as so many people go through the same thing. Now I find myself wondering if nothing is “generic”, if actually, you shouldn’t share anything at all!

The WWW is full of crazy fucks and the last thing I want is one of them tracking me down and eating me for supper LOL.

I'm alive!

Boy, have I been busy. Whatever I always thought as “busy” was NOTHING compared to working on a presidential campaign. The closer we get to Election Day, the more work I’m saddled with and the more new stuff I’m put in charge of. It’s all quite exhausting though, in all honesty, a lot of fun.

I have to be up at 6 a.m. Monday-Friday to tape the TV show I’m co-hosting. I get there to be slathered up with more makeup than a streetwalker. Then, we tape a couple of interviews with prominent politicians; and finally, we tape my favorite part which is similar to the Hot Topics section at The View. I really really lurrve chit-chatting with the other gals about the economy, politics, life, etc.

I’ve had no time for reading, *sniff* but have managed to finish three Eloisa James novels in the last two months or so. I have to say that Mrs. James has been an acquired taste for me but well worth the effort to stick with her novels. Her writing is full of twists and turns in a Shakespearian sort of comic way. She is genuinely unique in the Romance genre and a true breath of fresh air.

I have to apologize for our lack of updates—I say OUR because Harlot will be coming back even if she doesn’t know it yet! I will do my best to update the blog at least 2-3 times a week from now on.

I have missed you all and I’m glad to see you guys have missed us too.

Blogging around

I’ve nothing to blog about so I’m sending you guys over to some of the blogs I visit frequently. Go; entertain yourselves while I find something to say LOL.
  • The Pioneer Woman: As much as I love Ree and the amazing way she was with words, I love her husband, Marlboro Man, more. I keep asking my BF to pretend he’s “marlboromanesque” and wear chaps and ride horses. He has farms and livestock and is in the dairy business so, really, it’s not like I’m asking him to wear chaps on top of his suit pants at an office. You’d think my request was unreasonable! *hmmphh*
  • The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Yep, Ree again and, boy, can she cook. Her recipes are fun and easy and look totally drool-worthy. They might also give you a heart attack after a couple of bites LOL.
  • Trashionista: Fun book reviews and recommendations mostly on chick lit which I lurve. (I don’t really read the reviews but look up the book titles in Amazon. *wink*)
  • WWTDD: Cheeky, sarcastic and funny observations about TV, movies and celebrities.
  • A Book Lover: You guys know I hate book reviews—both writing and reading them—yet I like Alice’s reviews. I think it’s because she’s real. She doesn’t try to be funny or snarky or overly I’m-a-smart-and-knowledged-book-reviewer-look-at-me-and-adore-my-smartness.
Any blogs you guys love that I should check out?

For the love of the Bitches, come out, come out, whoever you are...

This time last year was National Delurking Week. No idea if anyone is doing it again this year on such a global scale, but I thought seeing as our dear visitors have been so lazy to comment lately, *sniffles* I’d make this our own personal delurking week. That’s right! It’s your once-in-a-year chance to finally make my and Trollop’s day; see, even my Raoul thinks you heathens should do it.

Okay, I’m going to make it a challenge: for every TBB reader who delurks in this thread, I’m going to post one yummilicious eye candy, uh-hmm (you know I have tons of that, even some for the boys and girls who likes girls *g*). And yes, as long as you’re not a verra handsome man covered in Nutella, I promise not to bite. ;)

Please don’t be shy, if you have read TBB for months or just started coming by, feel free to introduce yourself. It’d be nice to hear more than just “Harlot, you sexy minx, you’re bestest over Trollop.” That would surely make me smile but, really, post whatever you like. Maybe tell us who your favorite authors are, or what would you like to see more/less of on our blog (features, navigation you’d like us to add?), or if you dance in the showers or you sing when you’re having orgasm—or any gossip! You have inside info that Casey dude isn’t really the father of Brit Brit’s lil sis’s not-so-secret baby? Do tell! Heh. Oh, and let me know if you’re interested in having BBC discussion this month or February.

Gotchabaguse? Goody. Happy delurking!

The Book Bitches' year in review

Last year, Trollop spent most of her days in Madrid, broke my heart and became Magister in Applied Political Science. When she came back to D.R., she met Bridezilla and The Wedding Nazi. I think she’ll be knee-deep in politics soon, with ex-first lady and presidential candidates, doing what she does best: bossing everyone around, heh.

My life was boring compared to hers. 2007 was dominated by my relationship with my almost fiancé, recurrent ex, quite constant BF of the last 3 years, give or take. I wish I could define—in any language—what it is between us, but I don’t believe such a word exists. He still wants to be with me... for the wrong reasons. Still and all, he’s always there giving me chocolates. :)

Anyhoodles, according to my Blogger dashboard, we now have 739 posts (where the hell did those come from?!?). Let’s recap what happened here on TBB, shall we?

On life in general: We discussed weird foods, the A word, gun control vs. gun rights and why Legolas is a queer fairy. Trollop seeked to be a topless dancer (sort of); I considered giving unlimited boob access to a sexy syntax-ist. We became Santa’s little helpers, again.

On sex stuff: Trollop masturbated to Fabio *shudder* and liked pleasure spiked with pain. I advocated wanking (as always) with sex chairs, strap-on cocks, vacuum cleaners, bizarre butt plugs, even BOB iPod. I talked about sexual independence and the best misconceptions about my sex life.

On men and relationships: Trollop asked if we’re meant to be monogamous and who’s into bushy blokes. I thought about polygamy, why love and music come together, deadly dating sins and the appeal of older men.

On authors: Trollop mused about “Ass Authors” and whether the Internet is tainting the relationship between authors and readers. I mentioned the self-professed next J.K. Rowling (who’s a plagiarist) *snort* and the girl found guilty of terrorism for writing poetry—not kidding!

As for our guest authors, we had the pleasure of having Sarah Brophy, Melanie Lynne Hauser, Megan McCafferty, December Quinn, Michael Betcherman and Sarah McCarty. (Up next: Jennifer Donnelly and Paullina Simons. Stay tuned.)

On books: I ranted about gay penguins and “scrotum” in children’s books. Trollop posted about peek-a-boo(k), e-books and that only 1 in 4 adults read books. I talked about how reading keeps you thin, audiobook listeners are cheaters and the Bad Sex Award. Of course, this wouldn’t be TBB without any mention of the waterweed-caresser, Jamie Fraser. *g*

On romance novels: I asked for Patience, more knights and shouted my undying love for Matt Farrell. We had a quest for verra disturbing romances, hilarious blurbs, sheikhs and Scots—then we peeped under their kilts, heh. We pondered about the appeal of vampires (including Dark-Hunters; Viswush, Phuck and their stupid brothers *yuck*), werewolves and other were-beasties—with duck-cocks!

Romance is pure rubbish, according to Trollop the hero snob. She talked about Sebastian the Elephant Man, the hooked, the clawed, abusive fucks, halfwits with horrid tastes, “Wildcat Arrows” and misty Highlanders! Honestly, the only one she missed was a closeted-gay unicorn-tamer. :/

On YA fiction: We loved YA books so much they ruled our blog; from who popped my cherry, to why adults should read books for young adults. We went uber loco for Harry Potter: we discussed gay Dumbeldore and books 1-7 for BBC; we devoured anything Deathly Hallows (confusing and disappointing) and Order of the Phoenix movie (which sucked!).

Then, there’s Twilight. Oh, Edward, how I love thee... how I HATED Eclipse... how stupid the movie would be. *grrr* From the “accidental” announcement of who will play Bella—“oh, it’s just a mistake tee hee hee”—to “oh, it’s true-trooo, really.” For fuck’s sake, stop confusing me!!! Cedric was the last straw, I tell you. I won’t be surprised if they cast Dr. Phil and Oprah to play Carlisle and Esme, hmph!

On eye candy: NO ONE’s hotter than my Raoul but some of our love slaves demanded special attention: Delicioso Latino, Gods of Stadium, Twisted Stable Boy Who Fucks Horses and Hung Like a Horse Kickboxer. *g*

On celebrities, TV and movies: 2007’s about the Spartan King, fairytale creatures, Eric Bana’s huge codpiece, battle at The View, Battle of the Divas and the comeback of Sex and the City. Daniel Craig was hot (or NOT), Brit Brit’s a talentless skank stupider than that moronic beauty queen (at least I think that, evil that I am) and Becks stuffed his undies.

On blog buggery: In the name of all that is kinky, dirty and orgasmic, we christened Eduardo Corrochio and our spankin’ new template. We showed how great our love was for Mayor Phin Tucker and the horse you rode in on origin. We made our own romance novel covers and put the spring in Springfield. Lastly, *breathe* we finally launched our bitchin’ FAQ, yay!

Some blog fuckery and announcement (sort of)

You see those missing icons inserted before every commenter’s name on the comments section? Apparently, it’s because OpenID is now available on Blogger, and since we’re using Classic Templates we have to suffer such fucking ugliness! *grrr* (This genius explained it much better than I.)

UGH. I can’t fucking stand it when something isn’t functioning perfectly around here. It’s like a wound that itches like a mother! Blogger, please, PLEASE, fix this soon. Jesus loves us Classic Templates users too, ya know?! *hmph*

Anywho, I fixed/added some stuff:
  • As requested, RSS feed.
  • Spankin’ new bookmark/share button. Feel free to bookmark and pimp our fantabulous posts. :P
  • The language translation tool (on top of each post) is now working.
  • Improved recent comments section. Clicking the link will now take you to the specific comment on the individual post page.
  • Muchos efficient search box, yay! No more stupid useless results. Go on, try it.
Now, ever since the beginning of TBB, I’ve perpetually pimped my favorite books till Trollop threatened to strangle me if I don’t shut up. Let’s say, two of my uber UBER favorite authors have agreed to be interviewed by moi...

Let’s say... Paullina Simons and Jennifer Donnelly. What would you ask them?

Ya know, questions that you think no one else has asked. Or something that won’t entail them writing paragraphs after paragraphs about how many pair of knickers they owned or why they think Raoul should marry me (okay, that you can ask, heh). What I’m saying is, think of FRESH and FUN questions. Soooo..? *g*

The Book Bitches FAQ

Welcome, bee-yoo-tiful reader. We hope you have a fantabulous visit. Don’t be afraid to say hullo, we don’t bite—unless you’re a gorgeous naked man covered in Nutella. ;)

We’re foul-mouthed heathens and we fuck proudly. If you’re easily offended, go read the Daily Word or something. Gotchabaguse? Goody. Let’s proceed.

TBB is a thousand shades of awesome! :D How did it come about?

Once upon a time there was a most beautiful bitch named Trollop. She’d been an avid reader all her life, finishing her first book in the summer between first and second grade, a children’s version of Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne. There hasn’t been a time since then that she hasn’t been in the middle of reading a book or novel.

One day, she came upon a book titled Lady Be Good by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. It was the first time she’d read a romance novel and she absolutely loved it. This got her hooked on romance; however, most books that landed in her greedy little hands were a bunch of bullocks! She desperately wanted to share her frustrations with someone, but the only BB she was part of had a “no bashing books” policy which, though completely understandable, was freaking exasperating.

Enter the uber gorgeous Princess Harlot! Like Trollop, she too loved to read ever since she was a little heathen stealing books from her grandpa’s library. She discovered romance novels (through Judith McNaught’s Something Wonderful) almost at the same time Trollop did (both at the age of 21; coincidence?—I think not!) and like Trollop, she needed a place to vent about the crappy books she had the misfortune to read. Trollop then thought of a solution where the two of them could trash and bash, whine and rip apart any books they hated.

And so, The Book Bitches was created, thanks to Trollop’s endless babble about this or that book that “sucks so bad I’m seriously contemplating slicing my wrists instead of continuing to read this crap.” The original idea of purely reviewing—*cough* trashing *cough*—books all the time was discarded shortly after the blog first started. TBB is now a place for the two of them to talk about books, movies, TV shows—life in general, really—and there is, of course, tons of sex talk. It’s like having their very own shrink, without the exorbitant fees. *g*

How long does it take you to write a post? Do you have set days of the week for posting? There used to be four BB; where are the other two? Did Harlot scratch their eyes out for lusting over Raoul?

Harlot: Just so you know, for MY Raoul—if I must—I will beat the crap outtaya! I may be tiny but I can kick and chop-chop like the best of karate kicker choppers out there! AYE! *hmph*
  • Trollop’s favorite posts are The Bitchin’ News, though she seldom writes them (they are very time consuming).
  • Harlot edits all the posts to make them “pritti” and eye-catching.
  • Trollop edits all the posts for grammar and sentence structure.
  • Harlot gets all the pretty pictures added in the posts because Trollop is lazy to search and usually gets the fugly ones.
  • Trollop works on editing pictures and headers.
  • Harlot has taken over most of the template changes. (Blogger hates poor Trollop!)
  • Trollop got her name from a Girlmore Girls episode where Lorelai is using a lipstick by the color of “Vicious Trollop.”
  • Harlot got her name because it sounds better than “Trollop.” :P
  • Trollop has a list a mile long of posts she wants to write about, but never gets to work on them and the list keeps growing and growing and growing.
Harlot: YOU list them? I have my own list but I also have to make sure I’ll make a list for Trollop. Seriously, she looses everything!—and she actually blames me when I “forget” what it is SHE should be writing about! :@

Trollop: We don’t have a schedule for posts, or which of us has to post a specific day. We sort of play it by ear. I show Harlot all my works in progress but I only get to see hers when they are already finished and drafted. *grrr* It takes me a couple of hours to write most articles, and a bit more if I have to do research. Harlot writes a post in all of 5 seconds, and before I edit them, I have to tell you, they’re freaking LONG! How she does it is beyond me; takes me a fucking hour to write a paragraph LOL.

TBB started with four members: Bawdy Babe, Harlot, Tart and Vicious Trollop as contributors. Later on, two of our mates left us because of real life commitments; therefore, there are now only two fabulous Bitches left: Harlot and Trollop. ;)

Who in Xenu’s pants is Tucker?

Short answer: Not campaigning for some wanker; “Tucker for Mayor: More of the Same!” is our post continuation link.

Long answer: We luuuurve Jennifer Crusie’s Welcome to Temptation like sick freakos love sex in a barn (probably with fongool orgasm :/). We love its hero, Phin Tucker; its witty and funny story, the uber hot sex and, yes, Phin’s incredibly charming campaign slogan “Tucker for Mayor: More of the Same!”

Instead of “Ohhh, more, more, MORE!” (words that belong to our love slaves *wink*), whenever we have a long post, we’re going to use Phin’s funny slogan as a post continuation link. Particularly if said post includes tons of photos and/or videos. That way, our pages won’t look cluttered and it’ll be faster to load, yay!

What in pickling gherkin is BBC, and how can I join it?

Bitches Book Club (BBC) was officially launched on March 2006 (sounds like a space shuttle :/). Anyone that has read the book can participate, FREE, no charge, really really—though, if you want to send us some money, please, by all means. *g* Just answer the damn questions; the more people that join, the more interesting and diverse the discussion will be!

Every first day of the month, a book selection will be announced. Discussion begins the last Monday of the same month (unless announced otherwise). Usually, there are approximately 5-6 questions per book (we do not want our readers typing answers until their poor wee fingers fall off). Some of the questions will be posted when the “Book Selection of the Month” is announced, so participants can mull them over while they read. The rest will be posted when discussion officially starts, yay!

Discussion and comments are recorded on archives for further perusal. If you want to add something even after the discussion is over, please feel free to do so.

Isn’t this a readers’ blog? Why do you keep talking about sex? Why so few book reviews? Where are the juicy author gossips and the stupid catfights, dammit!?

If you don’t like what we do, for fuck’s sake, go forth and seek other sites. Honestly... In any case, let’s clarify some stuff:

a) Yes, this is The Book Bitches blog, and yes, we do talk about books here. But there are a lot of ways you can talk about books than just by reviewing them. What we do is... well, different. Here are two posts as examples: “The Big Cock Theory” and “His Ever Throbbing Manroot” (or just peruse our favorite posts scrolling on our ticker, that box on top of our pritti chatbox). As The Brainwash Café team has said about us: “Here, you can find articles on nearly everything all written with, hmmm... lets say a ‘unique’ style...” See, we’re unique. :D (We like those guys!)

b) We don’t have the interest, time and tolerance to seek gossips about authors. We can’t spend our time searching for “juicy” tidbits about the literary world, not even the romance genre (we’re busy and fucking lazy). We are not in tune with what’s happening in different authors’ personal lives. Actually, we’re usually the last ones to find these tittle-tattles! We are self-centered bitches who don’t give a flying fuck about others’ flights *le sigh* (unless it’s uber importante, heh). Of course when we happen to come across said topics and/or feel compelled to talk about scandals—or this and that author fighting idiotically in public, etc—promithe, when we do have something to say, you WON’T miss it.

c) We don’t attack authors. Meaning, we don’t call them bad, uglee oompa loompas. Their book is another matter, however. If we feel that one’s book is gad-awful and deserves to melt in a huge pot of boiling undiluted bubotuber pus—we will say that, of course. As for the stupid catfights, see “WTF? Why did you delete my comment?”

d) As much as we talk about books, sex stuff and men will always be part of this blog. So never fear, you dirty pervs. :P We are proud to be women who celebrate their sexuality and we do appreciate God’s gift of yummilicious men. *g* (Ohhh, thankee lord for the yummilicious men!)

Trollop, are you going to run for office? If so, will you admit to reading romance novels publicly?

Stay tuned, and why wouldn’t I admit it?

Harlot, did you really dump Brad Pitt?

Yes.

Who is Raoul? Who are Julio, Guido, Jack Koff and Gaylord Dookie?

Raoul is Harlot’s EXCLUSIVE LOVE PROPERTY forevah and eevaaaaah and that is the truth and nothing but the truth so help me Xenu and his Galactic Confederacy!!!

Now, *breathe* the others are Trollop’s Studasauruses:

Julio and Guido

Jack Koff and Gaylord Dookie

WTF? Why did you delete my comment?

a) You’re acting like a jackass, saying something offensive or disrespectful. We ask TBB commenters to be civil and nice. Flaming, belligerent debates, too nasty sarcasm are not welcome. Yes, at times we break these rules ourselves—sarcastic bitches that we are—but we live here.

b) You’re saying something that’s got nothing to do with the post the comment is made upon.

c) You’re being an ackflibbit. Damn, man! Speak a da Inglish!

d) We will NEVER allow vile type of behavior here. We have been incredibly blessed with warm-hearted smart readers that can voice their opinions, to either agree or disagree, in a graceful and classy way. But if ever the day comes in which to preserve what we have so painstakingly built, we need to erase, ban, kick-out or do whatever is in our power to do, we will do it with an iron fist—aye, even if it’s to a loved reader, author or blogger.

What is the purpose of the chatbox?

Chatbox is exactly that, a box for CHATTING. Or for some announcement, or when Harlot is missing again and Trollop is stuck in her gad-forsaken office where she has no MSGR. Chatbox is NOT the place to put in your comments. Sheesh.

Yo, I emailed you. How come you haven’t replied yet, you snobby bitches?!

Erm, apologies, we’re busy and fucking lazy. Or Trollop is somewhere flirting and Harlot is frolicking with Raoul. This is your chance to send us hate mails, heh. :P But please know that we do read every email we receive and we do think of you. Aye, really really!

Yoo hoo... Would you like to trade links?

Sorry, but no. In case you’re temporary blinded by our beauties, :P we don’t even have a blogroll. We’re self-centered bitches, aye. (We link people on our posts, though.)

Truth be told, Trollop wanted a blogroll but Harlot, ever the selfish one, didn’t want one. :/ (Well, it looks fugly and very cluttery! *hmph*) If we link someone, we have to link eeeeveryone so as to not hurt anyone’s feelings and that’s gonna be a list from here to freakin’ kingdom come! By then it’d be pointless because folks RARELY ever click a verra long blogroll (yep, we tested it), not to mention linking should be about quality and not reciprocation.

If you’d like to link us, we’d love that, thank you. Sounds hypocritical since we don’t trade links? Not really. As Bacchus puts it, a link is a compliment; a link exchange offer is a sneaky way of saying:

“I don’t really like your site enough to link to it. If I did, I’d already have your link up. But, even though your site isn’t worth linking to, I’ll do it anyway... if you’ll link back.”

Hubba hubba! Where did you find the picture you just posted? What’s the name of that scrumptious eye candy?!

Harlot: Since I’m the one who often post eye candy I’ll answer. Frankly I’m verra tired of this question—oh anguish, truly truly. *lesigh* If we have the source/link of something, we mention it. Every. Fucking. Time. Seriously!

Pictures are tricky, though. If you don’t see a link, it’s because I DON’T have one. I’ve been a perv downloading dirty stuff from the internet long before my blogging days. At the time it’s always been right-click-and-save, ya know? Now, in some cases, the link is in the freakin’ picture already.

As for the names of the studmuffins I’ve posted, honestly, dude, most of them I DO NOT KNOW. Please, oh please don’t hound me like a dog with a bone and piss me off; chances are even if I know it, I won’t say anything. Uh-hmm. I’m ebil like that. Sorry. Google, itz yoor frend.

Will you pritti please email me some porn/eye candy?

Fuck no. Google. Jeyzuz...

I’d like to put a button link to your blog on mine. Do you have one I could possibly use?

Sure, darlin’. You may use these:

**Any modification regarding FAQ-y stuff, changes will show in this section of the blog.

Everybody spread the word, we're gonna have a celebration; all across the world in every nation!

Today is our second blogiversary, yayayayay! :D

It’s been a weird year for us. Trollop had to move to another country and Harlot had to stop visiting her favorite mall (bastards *sniff*). After 631 posts and 420,000+ visitors later, we never imagined that we’ll still be here, putting our thoughts for the world to read. Really thought we’d have killed each other by now... :/

This home of ours was just supposed to be our place for “book ranting” and loving eye candy while sipping fruity martinis without worrying folks might think Trollop is a nympho. We didn’t expect that people would actually enjoy it, but for some reason, they did—oh, they did! *cries silently*—and they come back to read more.

We are both complimented and very grateful to everyone that has visited for the past two years and we really appreciate your support. We’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you (so Academy Awards of us, heh). To the linkers, the lurkers, the commenters, as well as the new heathens who’ve just visited for the first time and stayed to peruse the archives. For your comments (adding your thoughts and making the whole experience more fun), emails, warm wishes, inspiration and support, we thank you from the bottom of our harloty-trollopy hearts. *sniff*

By way of showing our appreciation, we’ll post our FAQ page later and perhaps some studmuffins. *g* Now, here are some favorite blog moments:

Stop! In the name of blog-love

GRRRR. For the last two days I lost my internet connection. I SWEAR my heartless phone company does this on purpose every once in a while just to see how much I’d endure their evil evil EVIL torture! Fucking sadists. :@

Anyhoodles, Trollop and I have been talking about possible major changes on our blog; mainly me to stop blogging. :P I told her she can be “The Book Bitch” and if people asked where my lazy ass was, she could say we’re not BFF anymore, hee. Ohhh, that would be fun to watch. *g*

I already said that I only blog because of Trollop. She’s the one who started TBB, it’s all her idea, I update because she’s busy/tired, and whenever she stops posting for like two/three weeks, I have to admit there’s a teeny bitty part of me that wishes, *sigh* “Let this be it.” (Bad Harlot. :/) Oh, I’ll screech at her like a banshee whenever she forgets her Bitchin’ Duties, but then she’ll counter that I’m really the one who doesn’t want to blog and that we both know it. (*grrr* Fucking H-A-T-E it when she’s right!)

Between the two of us, Trollop’s a lot busier than me, particularly now when she has important things she should be prioritizing (you promised, babe :@). Last year when she stopped blogging for TWO months (I KNOW!), I continued blogging—not because I wanted to, but because I HAD to. I won’t go into details; let’s just say I HATED her for the better part of it LOL.

I promised myself I’ll stop blogging when it ceased being fun. For a while now, it’s getting less and less fun for me. :( Dunno. It amazes me, actually, that I lasted this long LOL because unless I’m being fascinated, I get bored easily. For the last two years we’ve provided... I suppose you can say entertainment for all. We’ve never asked for anything, we’re just grateful that you guys like us, really really. *cries silently* It just saddens me sometimes when others come here just to pick a fight, or folks intentionally misinterpret our words, or when I put up a delurking thread and there are so many who’d snub the request. Can you blame me for feeling as if you enter Trollop’s and my home, we welcome you with pritti smiles and yet you won’t even say hullo? *sniff* Or worse! Tracks in mud on our spotless floor!

We’ve never gotten any money from this blog. Hell, not even a bent halfpenny. If you think we’ve been getting free books left and right, you’re wrong-o. :P (Thus far, I only got 1 book and 2 ebooks.) Authors/publishers/PR people offer, but Trollop and I often decline—unless it’s for our author interviews and even then we don’t keep the books as we raffle them for you, heathens.

Anywho, this coming 11th is our 2nd blogiversary! :D We’ll post our verra late FAQ page plus some fun here and there. Actually, hee, it’s supposed to be today; but like last year, we’re celebrating it on the 11th since it’s really Trollop’s “Holy Guacamole” post that started it for us. So, stay tuned. ;)

FAQ me

Ahh, laziness. Will post the verra cute Simpsonized images you guys have shared with us tomorrow. For those of you who still haven’t sent yours in, whatcha waiting for? As for the follow up for my “The Best Misconception About Me and My Sex Life” post, that’d be... er, when I’m less idle, heh.

Now, Trollop and I are making our FAQ page (we need one, apparently :/) so if there’s something about me/Trollop/TBB that confuses you, now is the time to ask. *g* Post all the questions you want but be warned, we’ll only answer those that will make us look shiny and good. :P

I.e.: If you ask Trollop if she’s a crumple-horned-snorkack-worthy HP fan, she’ll answer YES when in truth she is still rereading HP5 and has yet to open HP7. For shame. I am appalled, deeply deeply, I tell you.

FOR THE LOVE OF YUMMY STUDMUFFINS, DO NOT ASK US QUESTIONS LIKE WHAT OUR FAVORITE COLOR IS. Please, *groan* not another reason for me to throttle Trollop. Think of something helpful. I.e.: “Who in Xenu’s pants is Tucker?” “What in pickling gherkin is BBC, and how can I join it?” “Yo, I emailed you. How come you haven’t replied yet, you snobby Bitches!?” “I wanna give you pritti and expensive gifts. Where should I send it?” “Harlot, did you really dump Brad Pitt for Raoul?” Sorta important thingys, ya know?

**Please don’t feel bad if we don’t answer all of your questions. There are a lot of things about our personal lives we’d rather not disclose here. I’m sure you guys understand. ;)

Imitation is NOT the sincerest form of flattery—it's plain old thievery!

OH, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! I am sick, sick, SICK of people stealing our stuff. WHY do these fuckers keep doing this? Do they actually think we won’t find out?

I am soooo mad I can’t even type; I am shaking with anger I keep misspelling words. First, it was just those brainless idiots who occasionally claimed our ideas/posts as theirs. Then, there were those who started appropriating our names (seriously, can’t your tiny brains think of other names?). Now, someone actually stole our fucking blog design?!? WHAT. THE. FUCK!!!!!

Jeyzuz, let me breathe.

Forgive my filthy mouth but I just saw an EXACT copy of our blog: our design (which Trollop and I worked tirelessly for TWO FREAKING MONTHS non-stop we almost killed each other), our posts, even our fucking names!

We have worked very hard on our blog and don’t plan to take any more of this crap. From now on, every time someone steals ANYTHING from us, we’re writing about it, writing a complaint to Blogger (which, we already did once and the site was thankfully closed) and going to whichever site has recently stolen from us and letting their readers know! Believe me when I say you have NO idea how vicious Trollop and I can be when relentlessly provoked.

Design your own sites, write your own posts and get your own ideas. It isn’t that hard really; if you spend half the time on your site that you spend stealing from us, I’m sure you could fucking come up with something!!!!!

Blog pet peeves

Procrastinating instead of working on my fucking thesis, I decided to blog hop a bit and see what’s moving in the blogsphere. Now, I don’t know if it’s because I’m in such a foul mood, or maybe we’re nearing a full moon, but I stumbled upon most of my blog pet peeves today—which, not surprisingly, irritated me more than usual.

PMS + thesis deadline = bitchy Trollop *LOL*

Here are some of the things that drive me insane when I blog hop:
  • Long posts. Anything over six-eight paragraphs I won’t read, or will just skim over. There are exceptions of course, but it’s very hard to keep a post interesting when you ramble on for ever and ever.
  • Book reviews that are as long (or even LONGER) than the book itself. Honestly, people, it’s a review not a rewrite of the book in your own words. A couple of paragraphs should suffice for a good book review IMO.
  • When you click on comments, and out of the 50, 48 were written by the same person who wrote the post. That really confuses me and not sure why, but it really annoys me too LOL.
  • Blogs with dark background and light font. I can’t read white on black, yellow on orange, or white on yellow. After the first paragraph I get frustrated and give up. My poor little eyes suffer every time I try this.
  • Headers that have nothing to do with the theme of the blog. A dog smelling a flower and the blog is called “Double-Bended Chef” or something like that.
  • Posts that aren’t justified. I think this is what bothers me the most as there is no excuse for it! Blogger justifies your posts for you. All you have to do is click on a little button.
  • Pictures that aren’t centered and that are just there to be there; ones that don’t add anything to the post itself..
So, what are your blog pet-peeves? Besides bitchy bloggers that are in foul moods that is. :P

Tucker for Mayor: More of the Same! (Harlot's Phin)

Okay, folks, here’s the deal:
  • a) Trollop and I luuuurve Jennifer Crusie’s Welcome to Temptation like sick freakos love sex in a barn (probably with fongool orgasm :/). We love its hero, Phin Tucker; its witty and funny story, the uber hot sex and, yes, Phin’s incredibly charming campaign slogan “Tucker for Mayor: More of the Same!”

  • b) From now on, instead of “Ohhh, more, more, MORE!” (the one we use on our love slaves’ section), whenever we have a long post, we’re going to use Phin’s funny slogan as a post continuation link. Particularly if said post includes tons of photos (like this one *wink*) and/or videos. That way, our pages won’t look cluttered and it’ll be faster to load, yay!

  • c) JC ROCKS!!! If you’ve yet to read WTT, don’t walk—RUN and grab the first copy of it you can find. Seriously, it will leave you breathless and pink all over with barely concealed glee, bright and shiny floating to the clouds like a joyful monkey! :D Er, or something close to that, heh.
Now, Trollop and I were discussing our darling Phin a while ago and how uber wonderful he is. *sigh* I then told her who I imagine as Phin whenever I fantasize about him LOL. Anyway, she disagreed—as usual (she does it to annoy me; EVIL, EVIL)—and then had the gall to throw a challenge that if we let our dear readers vote who they think should be Phin, HER PHIN will win over MY PHIN! (Honestly, I’ll choke her, I tell ya! *grrr*)

That’s why I need your help, my bee-yoo-tiful chicas. All you have to do is say that MY PHIN (that delicious man down there) is BESTEST. Yep. That’s all you have to do, really... You’d think I might give a threat that THERE SHALL BE A DROUGHT OF EYE CANDY LIKE THERE’S NEVER BEEN BEFORE IF MY PHIN DOESN’T WIN but... I’d never do that. *g*

P.S. Trollop will post HER PHIN later. Don’t forget, no drought threats just, make sure you vote wisely. Mm-hmm. ;)

F*ck you and the horse you rode in on origin

Last December I showed you guys how perverted and twisted some of our visitors are LOL. From the blatantly kinky, to the randomly confused and cluelessly horny, to the... er, scary freakos, these people find us with certain query terms that, if analyzed by someone who didn’t know TBB is mostly a book blog, there’s no doubt they’d believe we’re a porn site!

Just take the number one keyword for example: “big cock.” This term ALWAYS appears on our analysis. I’m pretty sure I don’t have a big cock (despite the sailor mouth, I’m 100% girl, you maniacs). I’ve seen Trollop half-naked (she usually has her webcam on and I swear she doesn’t own any clothes; she’s always in her underwear) and unless my eyes deceived me or she knows some fancy taping maneuvers, I’m sure she doesn’t have one either. (Just the way she complains and fusses over her hair makes me sure she’s a girl—or a drag queen, at the very least. :/) Still, each and every day the very popular “big cock” appears on the list: big cock feels good, big cock hurts, big feet/hands equals big cock? Wow, 14 inches! Playing with big cock, sucking it, wanking it... Honestly, I’ve seen enough big cocks to last me a lifetime!!! (No pun intended LOL.)

Anyhoodles, here are some of the terms I gathered that pointed to our blog:
  • things to know when in prison
  • why you always feel smarter after couple of booty
  • the doctor is in
  • how to play hide the salami
  • sweet hot sex and juicy bubble butt
  • im free tonight, pop round you
  • gallery goat love
  • nipples candy fetish
  • benjamin the well hung horse
  • toothless old man oral sex
  • i love skat play but hate the smell
  • husband crossdressing as britney spears photos
  • mr. santa bring me a treat, climb down my chimney ive got something to eat
  • how to say i want to lick you between the legs in spanish
  • five and a half years without sex
  • i wanked him with my dirty knickers
  • i want to eat ketchup and fuck chickens
  • video of woman who tries to take baseball bat up pussy
  • white-pasty faced photo of the sister who had put on too much makeup
  • what will give susan the most intense orgasm she has ever had
  • sex in barn how much joy can you stand
  • ladies buying male pleasure slaves
  • dog licking my vulva
  • daniel radcliffe penis inches
  • sex with farm animals rent ranch for summer
  • italian fongool
  • her grandmother hates my big cock
  • she smothered his face into the crotch of her smelly panties
  • how to milk a cat during sex
  • woman masturbating with gherkin picture
  • tripped over my dog and was knocked unconscious
  • how to win an argument with your wife over cheating
  • hubby takes wife out dogging
  • curlers burned my pubic hair
Look at this screenshot I took the other day:

Seriously, what else is there to say but, yes, we are the “prettiest sexiest bitches” *g* and, indeed, Harlot is hot. *wink*

Corrochio stampo

My dear readers, light some candles, wear your fuck-me-thigh-high boots and join me and Trollop in this momentous event. Today, we, TBB, proudly christen two things. *g*

As you might recall, we appealed on your good graces to do an act of charity for one of our lurve slaves: Rusty. Such a virile man, vigorous, strong, full of stamina... yeah, baby... Er, *ahem* right. LOL What I mean is, Rusty is wet-your-knickers hot! He has always been a good studmuffin, bringing Trollop and me piña coladas, rubbing us when we’re in need of rubbin’, and he’s been a verra verra obedient boy. Indeed. ;) That is why it PAINS us—oh, it does—oh, the pain *drama*—that he has to suffer such a bloody AWFUL name!!! Honestly... *whisper* Rusty Joiner? *cringe*

Alas, Trollop and I contemplated. And from the bottom of our wicked hearts sprang this desire to free Rusty from the shackles of a shamelessly appalling name! Oh, the shame! *sniff* Hence, folks, ye be witnesses as:

Rusty, TBB baptize you in the name of all that is kinky, dirrrty and orgasmic. *sprinkling martini all over* From this time forth, *sprinkle more* you shall now be known to us Bitches as *sprinkle sprinkle*... Eduardo Corrochio!

Now, pass around the tequila, my chicos and chicas. Raise your BOBs** and let’s all hula and give Eduardo a big “HURRAH!” As a way to celebrate this joyful occasion, we present you our new fucking pain in the ass took FOR-E-VAH to do *grrr* template that we’ve named after our precious Rusty—I mean, Eduardo LOL. What say you? Isn’t our Eduardo Corrochio Template bitchingly uber purrrty? :D

**Battery Operated Boyfriend
***Believe it or not we’re still not fucking done (tell me about it!). Well, there are some stuff we have to change. Hmmm, let’s see...

Template loco

Hola, chicas. A little update: We’re still working on the new template and hopefully, we’ll be able to finish everything today. I swear if we keep doing this, Trollop and I will kill each other—that that that evil woman!!! *GRRR*

Anyway, due to this madness (blame Trollop, totally HER fault), I hope you bee-yoo-tiful creatures won’t mind if we, er, move our Persuasion discussion tomorrow. That way, Trollop and I can participate as well. Pretty please, with Nutella on top. :D

Geesh. Alright, alright. Here’s a little manflesh bribe something to “persuade” you. ;P And since I’m generous today LOL, I’ll share one of those videos I usually watch for my Raoul fix. I don’t understand a word of the interview but just by standing there, Raoul is seriously giving me an orgasm... *sigh* oh, my... (HANDS OFF, HE’S MINE. For fuck’s sake, I’m not that generous! *hmph*)
